Tuition Fees, Scholarships, Payment Schedule, Deposits, Receipts and Refunds

Students who are not UK or EU citizens are not eligible for government support for fees. EU students should visit our fees pages for details of their tuition fees.

International Scholarships

The University of Glamorgan has the following scholarships for international students. You will be automatically considered for one of these awards when we receive your application. You do not need to make a separate application and confirmation of scholarship will be included in your offer letter.

Undergraduate degree Courses – £1,500 per year
Postgraduate degree courses – £2,000
Master of Business Administration (MBA) – £1,500

You will receive confirmation of any scholarship award with your offer letter. Applicants must pay the minimum deposit stipulated in the offer letter by the date stated on the Acceptance Form in order to secure their scholarship.

The scholarships do not apply to IFP, IPG, English language skills courses or placement years.

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your place at the university and must be paid before submitting an application for a student visa.

Deposit payments should be made by bankers draft payable to The University of Glamorgan or via bank transfer to:

If you make a payment by bank transfer then please send us a copy of the bank transfer receipt. Please make sure that you include the student’s name and IRO number as a reference.

Important
Once the deposit has been paid to the University of Glamorgan it will only be considered for a refund on the production of an original visa rejection notice from the appropriate British Consulate which shows that the information you provided to them was appropriate for your application and completion of the Refund Application Form, available from the Enquiries & Admissions Office.

Payment Schedule of Tuition Fees

All students are required to pay a minimum of 50% of their tuition fees at enrolment (less any deposit you have already paid). The balance of the fee is subject to the following conditions.

  • English Language Study Skills and IFP students must pay the balance of their fees in full at the point of enrolment.
  • All other students may pay the balance of their fees by equal monthly instalments within three months of their enrolment. You must contact revenue@glam.ac.uk in order to set this agreement in place. Failure to do so will result in your account being subject to the normal University Debt Policy.

Canadian Loans

The University of Glamorgan is a designated institution that enables students from British Columbia to attend and still be eligible for student financial assistance from that province.

Refunds

Once the deposit has been paid to the University of Glamorgan it will only be considered for a refund on the production of an original visa rejection notice from the appropriate British Consulate which shows that the information you provided to them was appropriate for your application. Please complete the refund request form.
