Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

  • GCSE English at grade C
  • IELTS 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT 80

Don’t worry if you do not meet these requirements as we offer a range of English Language Courses to prepare you for academic studies.


Academic Qualifications

  • A 2 year degree with good overall grades achieved
  • Students with a HSC qualification will be required to take a Foundation Course before proceeding to an undergraduate degree

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Postgraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

  • GCSE English at grade C
  • IELTS 6.5
  • TOEFL iBT 88

Academic Qualifications

  • A first class 4 year undergraduate degree
  • A first class 2 year degree plus a master’s degree
  • MBA applicants should have one of the above qualifications plus at least 2 years post graduation work experience
