• BA [Hons] Game Art & Animation – Also taught at the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, on this course you will get to use the latest industry-standard equipment and software to create your ideas in a virtual reality. Not only will you gain the technical skills you need for a successful career, but you will develop your creativity and the professional skills needed for the workplace.

• BA [Hons] Popular Music – On this course as well as the practical aspects of music, you will get to explore the cultural and historical aspects of this global genre. Although technology is not the focus of this course, you will learn how to work with contemporary studio technology from a creative perspective, which will allow you to further develop your musical interests and employability. These courses are taught at Glamorgan Business School on our main Treforest campus.

Entry Requirements - Foundation

• Students who have passed the Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and have an English language ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0 will be considered for Foundation Year Programmes.

• Students who have passed the Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and have an English language ability equivalent to IELTS 5.0 will be considered for the International Foundation Programme

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

Holders of the:

• Senmonshi (Technical/Vocational Associate degree)
• First year of a 4 yr Japanese degree

will be considered for direct entry onto the first year of our undergraduate programmes.

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

• GCSE English at grade C
• IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in each band)
• TOEFL iBT 80

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

Holders of the:

• Gakushi (First Degree)

will be considered for direct entry onto the first year of our postgraduate programmes.
