- BA [Hons] Game Art & Animation – Also taught at the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, on this course you will get to use the latest industry-standard equipment and software to create your ideas in a virtual reality. Not only will you gain the technical skills you need for a successful career, but you will develop your creativity and the professional skills needed for the workplace.
- BA [Hons] Popular Music – On this course as well as the practical aspects of music, you will get to explore the cultural and historical aspects of this global genre. Although technology is not the focus of this course, you will learn how to work with contemporary studio technology from a creative perspective, which will allow you to further develop your musical interests and employability. - BA [Hons] Film and Video – Graduates of this course are prepared for positions in the film and television industries as camera or sound assistants, trainee editing, writing and production staff, or in a more general capacity to join smaller independent production companies or even start their own. - BA [Hons] Business Management – This is a 3 year Bachelor programme which in the first year offers you an overview of the business world, while in years 2 and 3 you will learn more about how businesses develop and how to overcome challenges and difficulties that every business may potentially face.
- BA [Hons] Tourism Management – This course equips you with the skills and knowledge to work at managerial level in the rapidly-expanding tourism and leisure industry.
- MBA Master of Business Administration – This one year postgraduate, post-experience course is seen as a career accelerator. Brochure download
- MSc Marketing – This one year programme will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to launch a successful career in the dynamic marketing industry. MSc International Fashion and Retail Marketing is another, more specialist course developed for students who specifically wish to work in the fashion industry.
These courses are taught at Glamorgan Business School on our main Treforest campus.
- LLM/PgD International Commercial Law – This one year full-time postgraduate course will allow you to secure career opportunities in a number of different positions in international organisations which work in global markets and face global challenges. It is also suitable for those pursuing a career in international law firms, international banking and other sectors of the economy.

Entry Requirements - Foundation
- Students who have passed the Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and have an English language ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0 will be considered for Foundation Year Programmes.
- Students who have passed the Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and have an English language ability equivalent to IELTS 5.0 will be considered for the International Foundation Programme
Entry Requirements - Undergraduate
Holders of the:
- Senmonshi (Technical/Vocational Associate degree)
- First year of a 4 yr Japanese degree
will be considered for direct entry onto the first year of our undergraduate programmes.
English Qualifications
Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:
- GCSE English at grade C
- IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in each band)
- TOEFL iBT 80
