Entry Requirements - Foundation

Foundation Year Programme entry for those who have 5 Grade C-‘s or above at KCSE. If applicant does not have a C in English will be offered International Foundation Programme entry.

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

Academic Qualifications

• Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
• Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
• Applicants who have completed the Brookhouse Foundation with overall average of 50% + can be offered entry to relevant undergraduate programme
• Applicants who hold a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma/ABE/EdExcel HND will be considered on case by case basis for 2nd, 3rd or IPG programmes

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

• KCSE with grade C or above
• GCSE/O-Level English grade C or above
• IELTS 6.0 or above
• TOEFL iBT 79-80 or above

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

Academic Qualifications

• Applicants with the equivalent to a Second Class Lower degree will be considered for masters programme entry
• Applicants with a masters degree will be considered for masters programme entry
• MBA – For entry to MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably after graduation and student should be aged at least 23

English Qualifications
