– The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University has an excellent working relationship with the chiropractic profession and enjoys close links with the British Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors, as well as many other international chiropractic organisations. The University was the first in the UK to offer an integrated undergraduate degree programme accredited by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).
– This programme gives students full exemption from the examination requirements of the British Computer Society and has partial CEng accreditation from the Engineering Council. This means that what you learn meets industry standards and will be relevant to actual practice, giving you an edge when you compete for jobs.

Scholarships for Your Country
Norwegian students are eligible for undergraduate academic scholarships of up to £1,500 and postgraduate academic scholarships of up to £2,000. International Postgraduate Environmental and Engineering Scholarships of £4,850 are also available.

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate
Students who hold the Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skole will be considered for admission onto undergraduate programmes.
Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:
GCSE English at grade C
IELTS 6.0
TOEFL (Paper based) 550
TOEFL iBT 79–80

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate
Students who hold a Candidatus Magisterii or Candidatus Juris (for Law) or a Bachelor degree will be considered for admission onto postgraduate programmes.
Applicants who already hold a Masters degree will be considered for Masters programme entry
MBA – For entry to MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably after graduation and student should be aged at least 23.

TOEFL (Paper based) 575
TOEFL iBT 90–91

- Glamorgan’s Link with Noroff Instituttet
ICT Security and Sound and Music Production students from the Norwegian vocational school, Noroff Instituttet, can apply the University of Glamorgan to complete their Bachelor’s degree in a year. Please find out more at Noroff’s web pages.

- Glamorgan’s Link with Bjørknes Høyskole
Students who successfully complete the Medisin grunnfag are now eligible to apply for MChiro Chiropractic
- Glamorgan’s Link with Atlantis Medisinske Høgskole
Atlantis also offers a Medisin grunnfag, graduates of which are eligible to apply to the first year of MChiro programme.
A programme such as Glamorgan’s MChiro Chiropractic is not available anywhere in Norway, and we are the only university in the UK to offer a fully integrated undergraduate Masters degree programme that is accredited by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE). Please email Kate Czyrko for more details on how to make an application if you are studying at one of these institutions.
- Do Norwegian Students need a Visa to study at Glamorgan?
Normally, Norwegian students coming to study in the UK do not require prior entry clearance (a visa) because Norway is a member of the EEA (European Economic Area). However, it is worthwhile confirming this with the British Embassy who you can contact at:
