Entry Requirements - Foundation

• Students who have a 60% pass in their Tanawiya Amma (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) can apply for the International Foundation Program; you must also have an IELTS score of 5.0.
• Students who have a 60% pass in their Tanawiya Amma (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) can apply for a Foundation Year Program, you must also have an IELTS score of 6.0 or above

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

• GCSE English at grade C
• IELTS 6.0
• TOEFL (Paper based) 550
• TOEFL iBT 79-80

Don’t worry if you do not meet these requirements as we offer a range of English Language Courses to prepare you for academic studies.

Academic Qualifications

• Students who have a 2 year Diploma from a recognised institution can be accepted on to the first year of a degree programme.
• A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate are also accepted; please refer to our website or prospectus for entry requirements for particular courses.

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Postgraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

• GCSE English at grade C
• IELTS 6.5
• TOEFL (Paper based) 575
• TOEFL iBT 90-91

Academic Qualifications

Postgraduate entry for those who have one of the following:

• 3 year Honours degree with a 1st Class or 2nd Class can get direct entry onto a Masters course
• Masters degree
• For entry on to the MBA, students should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience.
