Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

GCSE English at grade C
IELTS 6.0
TOEFL iBT 80

Don’t worry if you do not meet these requirements as we offer a range of English Language Courses to prepare you for academic studies.

Academic Qualifications

A 2 year degree with good overall grades achieved
Students with a HSC qualification will be required to take a Foundation Course before proceeding to an undergraduate degree
Advanced entry to certain undergraduate degree programmes may be possible for students who hold a UK HND in a relevant subject

TOEFL iBT 88

A first class 4 year undergraduate degree
A first class 3 year degree plus a master’s degree
MBA applicants should have one of the above qualifications plus at least 2 years post graduation work experience

Glamorgan Alumnus

Syed Tajammal Hussain Shah is a Glamorgan alumnus. His role is to act as an in-country officer to advise students and give help with Glamorgan applications. Syed, or TJ as he is better known, will represent Glamorgan at exhibitions such as Dawn and can also be contacted to talk about the Glamorgan student experience from his own experience.
