Entry Requirements - Foundation

Applicants who have Senior Certificate (No Matriculation) with 5 grade C’s at standard level and have a grade C or higher in English can gain entry into the Foundation Year Programme. Those who have a grade lower then C can gain entry to the International Foundation Programme (IFP)

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

Academic Qualifications

• Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be considered
• Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be considered
• Applicants with a Senior Certificate (with matriculation) must have 3 B grades and 2 C grades at Higher Level with a grade C or higher in English to gain direct entry to 1st year of degree programme
• Applicants who have successful completed a Higher Certificate / Higher Certificate in Technology will be considered for direct entry to 1st year of degree programme
• Applicants who have successful completed a National (Technical) Certificate N5 will be considered for direct entry to 1st year of degree programme
• Applicants who have successfully completed a Diploma in Technology (DipTech) will be considered for advanced entry on a case by case basis

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for undergraduate study. If your first language is not English we expect you to to have one of the following English language qualifications:

• Senior Certificate with a grade C or higher in English
• GCSE/O-Level English grade C or above
• IELTS 6.5 or above
• TOEFL iBT 90-91 or above

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

Academic Qualifications

• Applicants with the equivalent to a Second Class Lower degree will be considered for masters programme entry
• Applicants with a masters degree will be considered for masters programme entry
• Applicants with a Technikon National Higher Diploma (T4) can be considered for entry for masters programme entry
• MBA – For entry to MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably after graduation and student should be aged at least 23
