Entry Requirements - Foundation

Entry to the International Foundation Programme will be offered to students who have passed the Tawjihiyya Certificate with a minimum score of 60% and IELTS 5.0 students with an IELTS 6.0 can gain entry to the Foundation Year Programme

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of Glamorgan recognises the following English language qualifications:

• GCSE English at grade C
• IELTS 6.0
• TOEFL (Paper based) 550
• TOEFL iBT 79-80

Don’t worry if you do not meet these requirements as we offer a range of English Language Courses to prepare you for academic studies.

Academic Qualifications

• An overall average of at least 65% in 12th Standard for students who have studied the Indian CBSE syllabus.
• Students studying A Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be accepted subject to meeting the University’s standard entry requirements as specified for each course.
• Advanced entry to certain undergraduate degree programmes may be possible for students who hold a UK HND or similar Diploma in a relevant subject

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

• TOEFL (Paper based) 575
• TOEFL iBT 90-91
