Entry Requirements - Foundation

  • Applicants who have an average grade 5 or above in the Zambia School Certificate and have a grade 5 or higher in English will be considered for a Foundation Year Programme and those with a grade lower the 5 will considered for the International Foundation Programme

Entry Requirements - Undergraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for undergraduate study. If applicants first language is not English we would expect the applicant to have one of the following English language qualifications:

  • Zambia School Certificate grade 5
  • GCSE/O-Level English grade C or above
  • IELTS 6.5 or above
  • TOEFL iBT 90-91 or above

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
  • Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
  • Applicants who have a post secondary diploma will be considered for advance entry to year 2/3 of a relevant degree programme on a case by case basis

Entry Requirements - Postgraduate

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Postgraduate study. If applicants first language is not English we would expect the applicant to have one of the following English language qualifications:

  • Zambia School Certificate grade 5
  • GCSE/O-Level English grade C or above
  • IELTS 6.5 or above
  • TOEFL iBT 90-91 or above

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants with the equivalent to a Second Class Lower degree will be considered for masters programme entry
  • Applicants with a masters degree will be considered for masters programme entry
  • MBA – For entry to MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably after graduation and student should be aged at least 23
